DAY 1

LYON

Passengers are welcome to board the ship in Lyon at 3:00 p.m. Our ship will cast off. After comfortably settling into your cabins, meet our crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner. Tonight we’ll enjoy an evening of entertainment on board. Our ship will cruise through the night.

DAY 2

AVIGNON / ARLES

The morning will be spent cruising. Excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Set off on our guided tour of the Papal Palace, set high on a rocky outcrop surrounded by the city walls. 
DISCOVERY as a supplement: You'll leave by coach for the Pont du Gard, a true masterpiece of ancient architecture. We'll hike along the aqueduct trail, a 2-mile walk through the site with numerous viewing points. At the end of our trek, we'll visit the museum. We'll return on board for dinner and an evening of entertainment. Dinner and begin to cruise to Arles. We’ll remain in port overnight.

DAY 3

ARLES / PORT SAINT LOUIS / MARTIGUES(1)

Excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Join us for an excursion to the Camargue - an immense exceptional plain where the sea, wetlands and pools are inhabited by an extraordinary variety of water fowl.
DISCOVERY as a supplement: Safari in the Camargue. Far from the tourist traps, discover the Petite and Grande Camargue from the back of a jeep with local guides who will share their enthusiasm for this legendary area. You'll cross the Parc Naturel Régional de Camargue. The afternoon will be spent cruising to Martigues. Enjoy some free time exploring the city before we set off once again for Avignon.

DAY 4

AVIGNON / VIVIERS - The Ardèche Gorges

CLASSIC: This morning, join us on an excursion to Les-Baux-de-Provence, undoubtedly one of the prettiest villages in France.
DISCOVERY as a supplement: You'll be taken by coach to the starting point of a hike in the Alpilles Mountains to the village of Baux-de-Provence. You'll have a great view of the legendary village and the surrounding valley. In the afternoon, excursion for both packages: A trip by coach through the Gorges de l’Ardèche. Afterwards, we'll return on board and leave for Viviers. We'll remain in port overnight.

DAY 5

VIVIERS / TAIN L'HERMITAGE - The Vercors

Excursion for both packages: We'll leave by coach towards Loriol-sur-Drôme, where you will visit a wine cellar and taste the famous Clairette de Die. We’ll then return on board. Tonight is our festive gala evening. Our ship will begin to cruise during the night.

DAY 6

TAIN L'HERMITAGE / LYON

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking around 9:00 a.m. End of our services.

Formalities: 

valid passport compulsory. Non-EU nationals are advised to consult their embassy or consulate. Please note: Your passport must be valid for six months beyond the last day of your travels.

 

For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. (1) Depending on mooring availability, the stopover in Martigues could be replaced by a stopover in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône. Alcohol can damage your health. Please drink in moderation.
