DAY 2

San Jose | Arenal

Breakfast and departure to Arenal Volcano. You will find in this area an amazing active volcano, a beautiful lake, and a great diversity of wildlife. Arenal is most impressive at night, in the dark, bursts of fire and red-hot rocks sometimes shoot hundreds of feet into the sky. Incandescent material cascades down the slopes, especially on the northwestern side. In the afternoon take an adventurous hiking tour around the Arenal Volcano and afterwards have a great relaxing time at the natural hot spring waters with buffet dinner included. Overnight in Arenal. DAY 3

Arenal

Breakfast and a full day of activities for you to enjoy. In the morning experience a horseback ride to La Fortuna Waterfalls. This is a good combination of a horseback ride and a hike. Well-trained horses will take you until the entrance of the waterfall through pastures, forest, and tall hills. The views of the Valley of San Carlos Forest that surround it are spectacular. At the end of the road, we will leave the horses and we will walk along a natural trail to the base of the waterfall, a special place to relax and swim. In the afternoon walk through the Hanging Bridges to safety appreciate the great diversity of wildlife that the zone has to offer. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Arenal. (B)

DAY 4

Arenal | Manuel Antonio

Breakfast and departure to Manuel Antonio. Manuel Antonio is the most visited wildlife area of the country, and it is the best area in the Central Pacific region. It has beautiful nature, biological diversity, and amazing scenery. The main attraction is the white sandy beaches that slope into clear waters, and fringed with tall forest that grows down to the high tide line. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Manuel Antonio. (B)

Manuel Antonio

Breakfast and morning at leisure. You can choose from a wide range of activities to do on your own like kayaking thought the mangroves, a hiking tour through the park and bird watching, among others. In the afternoon discover our Manuel Antonio coastline, the way Christopher Columbus traveled and climbed aboard one of Costa Rica’s fastest sailing experiences. After feasting on your senses and enjoying the tranquility of sailing these pristine waters, the catamaran glides into a beautiful, protected bay so you can swim under the protected cover of our tropical jungle. Snorkel along the coral reefs near the gentle coastline, and let your bilingual guides and naturalists help you discover our fascinating underwater domain. You will witness one of our unforgettable Costa Rican sunsets in offshore tropical serenity as you sit back, relax, and enjoy another close to a beautiful day in our tropical paradise.
