DAY 1
Cagliari arrival
Upon arrival in Cagliari, you will be welcomed by your private driver and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Take some time to settle in and enjoy your first impressions of Sardinia. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax or begin exploring the capital city at your own pace. Overnight in Cagliari.
DAY 2
Gagliari
After breakfast, meet your local guide for a comprehensive walking tour of Cagliari’s historic neighborhoods, including Castello, Stampace, and Marina. Key highlights include the Bastion of Saint Remy, the Elephant Tower, and the Cathedral of Santa Maria. The afternoon is free for optional activities such as relaxing at Poetto Beach or visiting the Roman Amphitheatre and the National Archaeological Museum. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cagliari. (B)
Day 3
Cagliari - Nuoro - Orgoloso - Alghero - Gastronomic Experience with shepherds
Begin with a traditional Sardinian breakfast before departing for Barbagia, one of the island’s most culturally rich regions. The first stop is Nuoro, a town known for its artisan heritage and vibrant museum scene. The journey continues into the mountains for a unique gastronomic experience—a traditional shepherds’ lunch in the heart of unspoiled Barbagia. After lunch, visit the mural-filled village of Orgosolo, famed for its strong cultural identity. The day concludes in Alghero, where you will overnight. (B)
DAY 4
Alghero - Palmavera - Capo Caccia - Alghero - Gastronomic Experience
Begin with a guided tour of Alghero’s historic center, where Catalan influences remain evident in both the architecture and culture. At midday, enjoy a gourmet lunch on a local estate, featuring traditional Sardinian cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the Nuragic archaeological site of Palmavera, a Bronze Age complex, followed by a scenic stop at Capo Caccia for breathtaking views over the cliffs and sea. Return to Alghero for an evening at leisure and overnight stay. (B)
DAY 5
Alghero - Caselsardo - Tempio Pausania - Olbia - Gastronomic Experience
Today takes you eastward across the island, starting with a visit to Castelsardo, a picturesque medieval town perched above the sea. Continue to Tempio Pausania, known for its granite architecture and baroque churches. Here, enjoy a traditional Sardinian lunch showcasing regional specialties. After a short city tour, proceed to Olbia, a lively coastal town and gateway to the renowned Costa Smeralda. Overnight in Olbia. (B)
Day 6
Olbia - Costa Smeralda - Olbia
Explore the glamorous coastal towns of the Costa Smeralda, including Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo, known for their luxury boutiques and stunning views. Return to Olbia around midday and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You may choose to explore Olbia’s historic center, relax by the hotel pool, or unwind at one of the nearby beaches. (B)
Day 7
Olbia departure
Enjoy your final breakfast in Sardinia. Transfer from your hotel to Olbia Costa Smeralda airport. (B)
