Day 1 - Wed, May 12

NEWARK -TEL AVIV

Depart Wednesday evening on your own from the USA for flight to Israel. 

Day 2 - Thu, May 13

TEL-AVIV (BEN GURION)

If you arrive to Israel when the group flight arraives, you can join our transfer from the airport to the hotel or join us to a short visit to Joppa and Caesarea Maritima on our way to our hotel in Netanya on the Mediterranean Sea.
If you are arriving in different times, you will need to arrange a transfer with IBMT Tours. (additional cost)

Day 3 - Fri, May 14

PLAIN OF SHARON/JEZREEL VALLEY

From an overlook high above modern Haifa, we will see the Bai Hai Gardens and then visit Mukraka where Elijah faced the false prophets on Mt. Carmel, Next a Middle Eastern lunch in a Druze restaurant, and then on to view Megiddo and its prophetic landscape. After lunch we will visit Nazareth Village and the Hill of the Precipice for a spectacular view of the Jezreel Valley. We will be spending the next few nights on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Day 4 - Sat, May 15

SEA OF GALILEE/GOLAN HEIGHTS/HULA BASIN

We begin the day with a spectacular view of the Sea of Galilee from the Golan Heights, then view, from a high overlook, Gamla (the Masada of the North). We will see Syria and Lebanon on our way to Caesarea Philippi, and walk through the ruins and the National Park at Tel Dan.

Day 5 - Sun, May 1

SEA OF GALILEE

Begin the day with a sunrise service on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. Visit Mount Arbel and see the Biblical Sites around the Sea of Galilee (Capernaum, Tabgha, the first century boat) along with a memorable boat ride on the Sea. The day ends with a walk on the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus taught.

Day 6 - Mon, May 17

JORDAN VALLEY/DEAD SEA

Begin the day with a drink from Gideon’s spring at En Harod; explore the vast Roman and Old Testament ruins at Beth Shean, then travel down the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea Scrolls caves of Qumran. End the day at our hotel to float in the Dead Sea and relax in the spa.

Day7 - Tue, May 18

DEAD SEA

Ascend Masada by cable car or foot to investigate the historic site. Hike in the refreshing En Gedi Nature Reserve where David fled from Saul.

Day 8 - Wed, May 19

SHEPHELAH/JERUSALEM

Depart the Dead Sea for the Shephelah. Experience our own dig in the chalk caves at Bet Guvrin National Park. View the Valley of Elah (Goliath’s defeat) from Azekah. Travel up to Jerusalem, and conclude the day with a visit to Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial. After dinner take an inspiring walk to the Western Wall.

Day 9 - Thu, May 20

JERUSALEM

Enter the Old City through Zion Gate; visit the Jewish Quarter, the Broad Wall, tour the Southern Temple Mount, the City of David excavations, with an optional trek through Hezekiah’s tunnel ending at the Pool of Siloam. After dinner take a walk to the shopping area at Zion Square and Ben Yehuda Street.

Day 10 - Fri, May 21

JERUSALEM

Begin the day at the Wadi Qelt overlook and then have lunch with Abraham overlooking the wilderness of Judea. Visit Herod’s fortress, the Herodium, and return to Jerusalem. 

Day 11 - Sat, May 22

JERUSALEM

See a magnificent panorama of Jerusalem from the Mt. of Olives, the Dome of the Ascension. Descend to the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Pool of Bethesda and St. Anne’s and walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The day concludes with the Lord’s Supper at the Garden Tomb.

Day 12 - Sun, May 23

JERUSALEM/TEL AVIV (BEN GURION)

Begin the day with an early morning time of worship before checking out of the hotel. Enjoy a free day to explore Tel Aviv at your leisure before our late-night departure from Ben Gurion Airport. Guests who have arranged their own flights departing at the same time as the group flight are welcome to join the complimentary transfer from the hotel to Ben Gurion Airport for their return journey to the USA.

Day 13 - Mon, May 24

TEL AVIV- NEWARK

Tel Aviv/Ben Gurion for our return flight to Newark arriving at Newark International early Monday morning the 24th.
