Istanbul

Following our arrival in Istanbul we are met at the airport and transferred to our hotel where we will have our dinner and overnight stay.(Dinner)

Day 2 - Saturday

Istanbul

After breakfast we set off on a full day of sightseeing in Istanbul. We will start with a visit to the renewed Sultanahmet Mosque, known popularly as The Blue Mosque an incredibly beautiful mosque known for its blue Iznik (Nicaea) tiles are unique for the fact that it has six minarets. We continue on to the Hippodrome once the vast arena that functioned as the heart of sporting (chariots races and athletics) events and political activities of the old city. From here we go to the nearby Hagia Sophia the Church of Divine Wisdom. Ranking as one of the greatest marvels of world architecture, this awe-inspiring building was constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Byzantine Emperor Justinian. After lunch, our next visit will be Topkapi Palace which for more than 400 years was the imperial residence of the Ottoman Sultans; now home to the priceless collections porcelain, jewelry, calligraphy and many masterpieces of art. The tour will end with the visit to the Grand Bazaar, the vast and legendary covered market that is the biggest souk in the world with nearly 4000 shops of antiques, jewelry and carpets. Overnight at the hotel.(Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 3 - Sunday

Istanbul / Ankara / Cappadocia

After breakfast drive to the airport for our Ankara flight. Tour starts in the morning  from the airport. Visit the Hittite Museum and Mausoleum of Atatürk. After lunch drive to Cappadocia. Dinner & overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 - Monday

Cappadocia

Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymakl & Citadel of Uçhisar. After lunch continue with the valley of "Göreme" & openair museum. The last sites will be Pasabag valley and Avanos. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 - Tuesday

Cappadocia / Konya / Pamukkale

Early departure for Konya. On the way, visit the 13 th century Seljukian caravanserai "Sultanhan". The next stop will be Konya which is famous with Mevlana Museum and the Theological Scholl of Whirling Dervishes. Lunch enroute, drive to Pamukkale. Dinner & overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 - Wednesday

Pamukkale / Kusadasi

Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and calcium cliffs. Drive to Meryemana and visit House of Virgin Mary. After lunch, Continue to Ephesus, the Romen Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the magnificient library, Agora and fantastic greco-
roman theatre. Dinner and overnight.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 - Thursday

Kusadasi / Canakkale

Early breakfast & departure to Pergamum. After lunch, visits of Asklepion. Continue for Troy, the legendary town in the iliad of Homeros, visit the Athena temple. Drive to Çanakkale, dinner and overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 - Friday

Canakkale / Istanbul

After breakfast cross the strait by ferry and drive to Istanbul along the shores of Marmara sea.  Dinner and overnight at Istanbul hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 9 - Saturday

Istanbul

After breakfast, We are transferred to the airport for our departure flights back home. (Breakfast)
