9 Days tour to - Cali, Pereira(Coffee region) & Medellin
Day 1 - Thursday
Cali
Upon arrival you will be met with IBMT Tours representative and will be transferred from International Airport “Alfonso Bonilla Aragón” to the hotel.
Day 2 -Friday
Cali (City tour and salsa class)
After breakfast, At scheduled time, one of our staff members will pick you up, to start a visit to some of the most representative places around the city. First, you’ll be visiting the downtown where, you will find “La Plaza Caicedo”, The Metropolitan Cathedral, the church of San Francisco and La Merced. Afterwards, you’ll continue your visit knowing the “Sebastian de Belalcazar” Viewpoint and the Cat of the River Monument. After this visit, you’ll have 1 hour of Salsa class with expert teachers, some of them have been champions of this genre. Return to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure and Overnight in Cali.

Day 3 - Saturday
Cali | Hacienda El Paraíso and Piedechinche
After breakfast, on schedule time, you will meet one of tour representatives start a tour, where you will find the “Hacienda El Paraiso”. This is a country house from the nineteenth century where, the Latinoamerican writer Jorge Isaacs lived and set his romantic novel “Maria”, to tell the love story between Ephraim and Maria. During the day you will have chance to have typical Lunch. Next visit of the day is “Hacienda Piedechinche” where the Sugarcane Museum is and also learn about the process of the sugarcane in this unique place in Colombia. Return to the hotel in Cali and overnight in Cali.

Day 4 - Sunday
Cali | Pereira (Coffee region)
After morning breakfast, you will transfer by a private car to the chosen hotel in Pereira or Coffee Region. Up on arrival, you will be greated by hotel staff and go for Check in. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight in Pereira.

Day 5 - Monday
Pereira | Coffee Region(Cocora Valley, Coffee Process at “Finca el Ocaso” and Salento)
After breakfast, Assistance and transfer in private service to Cocora Valley enjoying the beautiful landscape. First, you’ll have a welcome cocktail “Canelazo”; with the assistance of a specialist eco-guide, you’ll be ready to start the introduction to the natural reserve of Cocora. Then, you’ll go to the fog’s forest, a place to admire the biodiversity of fauna and flora. Thereafter, you’ll find the highest wax palm of the world and you’ll connect with the earth doing a special ritual planting some palms. Time to take a typical lunch and transfer to “Finca el Ocaso” to coffee farm where, you will learn all about the coffee process since sowing of the grain to tasting a cup of coffee. After amazing experience, you’ll go to the typical village of Salento where, you’ll have a walking tour visiting its colonial streets and craft workshops. Return to the hotel and overnight.

After breakfast, at the agreed time transfer to the airport of Pereira to take flight to Medellin (Flight ticket is included). Up on arrival to Medellin you will be transfered to the hotel of your choice. Overnight in Medellin.

Day 7 - Wednesday
Medellin | Innovation Tour
After breakfast, one of our representatives will pick you up to start a panoramic city tour where, you’ll visit the most attractive places of Medellin as Pueblito Paisa, The Sculptures Park and Antioquia Museum; there, you’ll find the most important works of the Colombian artist Fernando Botero. Then, you’ll visit the Botanical Garden with its Orchids exposition and the Museum “Casa de la Memoria” a place to remember the history of violence and change process throughout the history of Medellin and Colombia. Time to take a typical lunch, afterwards you’ll visit the popular neighborhood “Comuna 13” a place to learn how street artists of the zone have created artist expressions like graffiti to tell stories of hope, while they search better conditions of life for the community in spite of the violence that they have suffered. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 8 - Thursday
Medellin | The Western Tour
After breakfast, one of our representatives will pick you up at the hotel to take you on a tour along the western side of the Antioquia department. You’ll visit some of the most beautiful and charming municipalities like San Jeronimo, known as ‘the land of the cocoa”; Santa Fe de Antioquia, the first capital of the department famous for its fruit, stone paved streets and mud walled houses. This town has been recognized as Colombian Heritage town for its colonial architecture with white facades, wooden doors and windows. Finally, you’ll visit the western suspension bridge that was built between 1887 and 1895 over the Cauca River. Return to the hotel in Medellin and overnight.
