Welcome to Israel! Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, where you will be met by an IBMT Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. If Landing early morning we will drive to the city of Jaffa, Jaffa is famous for its association with the biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon and Saint Peter as well as the mythological story of Andromeda and Perseus, and later for its oranges. “Time permitting, we will have a walking tour of the city on our own and meet back at a place and time the tour guide will suggest. Dinner & overnight in Netanya (near Tel Aviv).

Caesarea | Muhraka | Megiddo | Nazareth

Following a delicious Israeli buffet breakfast, depart Tel Aviv and drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct. On to Mt. Carmel – Muhraka is famous as the site of the Sacrifice of Elijah the Prophet. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; visit the archeological excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. We will then drive to Nazareth, Mt. Precipice, and then go back in time as we enter a Nazareth Village. People will be dressed like in ancient times and you will experience what it must have been like in the days of Jesus. Lunch will be served at the village. Then en route to Tiberias for dinner and overnight, we will pass through Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle.

Boat Ride Sea of Galilee | Mt. of Beatitudes | Capernaum | Mt. Arbel | Yardenit Baptism

After a short tour of Tiberias, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Continue to Capernaum; visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha, the site of the miracle of fish and loaves, and visit the Church of Multiplication with its 4th century mosaic floor. Continue to Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Drive to Mount Arbel, (Hebrew: ?? ???? , Har Arbel) a mountain in Lower Galilee near Tiberias. View its high cliffs along with views of Mt Hermon in the Golan Heights, and trails to a cave-fortress and ruins of an
ancient synagogue. End the day with a Baptism at the Jordan River (Yardenit). Return to Galilee for dinner & overnight in Tiberias.

Drive to Gadera on the eastern (Golan Heights) side of the Sea of Galilee located at some distance to the ancient Decapolis cities of Gadara and Gerasa. Today, it is the modern El-Koursi. It is mentioned in some ancient manuscripts of the Gospel of Matthew as the place where the Miracle of the Swine took place, an exorcism performed by Jesus who drove demons out of two possessed men and into a herd of pigs. All three Synoptic Gospels mention this miracle, but only Matthew writes about two possessed men instead of just one, and only some manuscripts of his Gospel name the location as Gergesa, while the other copies, as well as all versions of Luke and Mark, mention either Gadara or Gerasa (see Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39,
Matthew 8:28-34). Continue to Tel Dan, walking and hiking in the Dan nature reserve – the largest and most important of the sources of the Jordan River. On to Caesarea Philippi where you will see the remnants of the temple of Pan with Pan's grotto and Banias falls. Drive to the Golan Heights & Mount Bental, you will be able to view Syria, Lebanon and all the strategic points of Israel with their neighbors. Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Gideon Spring | Beit Shean | Dead Sea | Overnight Dead Sea

This morning after breakfast we will leave the north and travel through the Gideon springs, on the slopes of Mount Gilboa, where the famous Gilboa Iris blossoms its purple flowers in March and April, a cold spring bubbles in a cave that flows into the Jezreel Valley. Although a peaceful setting today with green lawns and eucalyptus trees for shady picnics, it was at one time known only for war. Driving through the Arava road down south to the lowest point on earth, The Dead Sea where we will accommodate you for the night and be able to float on water. Overnight Dead Sea.

Masada |Ein Gedi |Mount of Olives |Palm Sunday Road |Garden of Gethsemane

After breakfast a 20 minutes’ drive will take us will take us to Masada going up with a cable car and visit the food storeroom, water irrigation system and Herod’s palace. Learn about the Siege of Masada where 300 families 960 people refused to surrender to the Romans for 3 years and finally killed each other not to surrender where the last person to survive committed suicide. Bring your bathing suit and hike to the Ein Gedi falls, a great moment to refresh yourself under the falls of Ein Gedi. After a stop for lunch on your own we will continue our drive to Jerusalem coming from the south entering the city and arriving first to Mount of Olives, a breath-taking panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem a view that energize your body you never experience before. Onto the Garden of Gethsemane via Palm Sunday Road and visit the Church of All Nations. Overnight in Jerusalem the city of God.

Temple Mount | Western Wall | City of David | Davidson Center & Southern Steps | Mt. Zion | Sound & Light show

Temple Mount is the most important place in the Jewish history where the Holy Temple was located and destroyed. Today the site is under the Wakf control by the Muslims. (visit subject to authorization of the authorities and israel security forces). From there Just below the Temple Mount, we will find people praying at the Western Wall, another site you will never find anywhere else on earth. Visit to the city of David and Davidson center where you will see a virtual clip recreation the Holy Temple and the daily life in and around the Holy Temple was 3000 years ago. Tonight, you will enjoy a Sound & Light show on the Tower of David & The Walls of Jerusalem. Overnight Jerusalem.

Via Dolorosa | Church of Holy Sepulchre | Arab Bazaar | Jewish Quarter and Cardo | Garden Tomb

Walk along the Via Dolorosa where Jesus carried his cross, visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where it’s believed by the Catholics and the Orthodox that Jesus burial site. Walk through the colorful Arab Bazaar. Pass through the restored Jewish Quarter passing the excavated Roman Cardo. We will end the day at Golgotha or the Garden Tomb the place the evangelical Christians believe it’s the burial place of Jesus. There we will have a communion led by Pastor Patterson. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Bethlehem | Machane Yehuda market | Israel museum; Model & Shrine of the Book

Today we cross the border to Bethlehem (visit subject to the security conditions) to visit the Church of Nativity. Lunch on your own in Bethlehem and cross back to Jerusalem. We are inviting you to enjoy something different and get to know the local people in Israel and their fantastic markets or at list one of them “ Machane Yehuda” where you will find an endless variety of food, spices, drinks from all around the world where Jewish people lived in the diaspora and brought it with them back to the Holyland, you will have a chance to purchase different food and enjoy the flavor. In the afternoon end the day with a visit to Israel museum shrine of the book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period. Farewell dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Depart Ben Gurion Airport

Enjoy early morning breakfast. Transfer to Ben Gurion airport for your flight back home depart at 10:05AM via Istanbul. Arrive to Atlanta same day at 7:55PM.
